These Vollrath braisers are ideal for braising large cuts of meats and veggies. The shallow height and wide diameter of the brazier allows for slow cooking with a small amount of liquid. These braisers have a 2 gauge, impact resistant 3004 aluminum construction that is engineered to withstand the difficult demands of commercial kitchen use. The bottom of the pan is double-thick to provide even heat distribution and eliminate hot-spots for perfect results every time. The large loop handles are spot-welded for a secure bond to ensure safe handling when lifting. The smooth interior provides a non-stick cooking surface for ease of cleaning.
This 14 7/8"Dia pot lid can be used on a stock pot, sauce pan or fry pan. The easy-grasp handle has been dipped in Torogard™ to reduce the chance of burns.
