This Asian-inspired boning knife features a beautiful PakkaWood® handle that is durable and won't harbor bacteria. The double-bevel, flat-ground blade can be hand-sharpened to a razor sharp 16° cutting angle each side. The boning knife also has a VG-MAX cutting core that takes an incredible edge and holds it longer. The stainless Damascus cladding has 34 micro-layers of steel each side (68 layers total) to support the core, add stain resistance and help food release from the blade. Plus, the boning knife has a lightweight, yet perfectly balanced full composite tang that provides maximum strength.
The Hubert® knife roll has 6 pockets - 5 to hold your favorite knives and the sixth to hold a sharpener or steel. Hook-and-loop tabs keep knife tips in place, so you safely transport them without damage to the knife, or to you! The knife roll has a large inside flap that protects the blades and prevents them from sliding out the end of the roll. The nylon construction features internal supports that helps the roll keep a squared shape, helping to keep the blades from overlapping. The knife roll closes securely with a hook-and-loop tab, and the handles can be joined inside a sturdy hook-and-loop grip.
