Its heavy-duty 3004 aluminum construction delivers heat evenly along the base and sidewalls for flavorful cooking results. It has double-thick edges for a secure cover fit (cover sold separately). The pot also features a chrome-plated TriVent steel handle that can be used in the oven. The tapering sides help to control pouring, reducing the risk of spills and burns. It has a heavier bottom that will not dent or warp over time, and the non-beaded rim provides stress-free cleaning.

The tough handgrip can resist temperatures up to 180?F.
